I am English and have lived in Chiang Mai for 29 years, I started up a shipping company 12 years ago with two trusted Thai friends and a staff of 8.
We’re based in Hang Dong which is 16km south of Chiang Mai. We provide a pickup and delivery service at a very reasonable price from 500 Baht upwards.
We started out as a packing and shipping business and after a few years realized we could make use of our warehouse space by allowing customers to store goods with us. First of all this was regular wholesale customers from abroad who were building up inventory until they had a full container loads ready for us to ship.
As we evolved into a house moving company as well, we found that people needed to store goods before moving to another city or abroad, then we began to cater for digital nomads, and clients who would live in two or three different locations throughout the year, the benefit for them being that they could buy quality items that they knew would remain safe with us instead of cheap throw away stuff or waste rental on condos without adequate security and the fear of rodents or mold damaging their goods while paying high rental costs.
We slowly built up our customer base and now have over 300 clients and 30 staff with storage space of 3,000 square metres.
Our warehouses have been custom built specifically for the Chiang Mai climate, allowing airflow to prevent mold while preventing infestation from rodents and bugs.
